Creative writing
Creative writing is not simply fun. Well, okay, it is FUN, but there is more to be learned than how to make a dragon, an owl, and a man have a conversation about who is going to eat who first.
Creative writing is important because, for one, it takes the pressure off students. It allows the words to flow without the onus of "AM I DOING IT RIGHT."
For budding novelists and poets and Wings-of-Fire fans, creative writing provides that outlet -- along with instructor feedback -- to stretch their writing wings and launch their creative journey.
